Tibet captain Jamyang Chotso, flee from Tibet and reached India via Nepal at age of eight. Her journey from refugee to leader is a powerful story that echoes the profound struggles of so many Tibetans. Now, at 25, Chotso is a central defender and captain of FC Tibet, first-ever kicked a football at 12. The CONIFA World Cup for women, inaugural host team was led by Chotso. Ms.Chotso is the perfect example of this energized youth. Win or lose, football is her platform to speak out on behalf of Tibet, as well as reconnect with the country she fled as a child.
